Emissions Control Products
Purifty Solutions' emissions control technology is also a fuel efficiency technology. Both the Catalytic Booster and Combustion Purifier use this same technology, but differ in how they prioritize fuel efficiency versus emissions control reductions.
- The Catalytic Booster puts fuel efficiency as its first priority, leaving emissions reductions as its second.
- The Combustion Purifier puts emissions reductions as its first priority, leaving fuel efficiency as its second.
Both the Catalytic Booster and the Combustion Purifier can be used to reduce emissions and increase fuel efficiency in a wide array of applications, such as the following:
- Engines Types: Internal Combustion Engines (Spark- and Compression-Ignitiion), Boilers, Furnaces, Gas Turbines
- Vehicles: On- and Off-Road Vehicles and Equipment, Ships, Trains, Airplanes
- Installations: Generators, Power Plants
Service Critical to a Complete Solution
Purify Solutions knows that just making an emissions control product is not enough, as it is only a very small part of an overall emission compliance solution. A real emissions control problem starts with understanding the regulations that apply now and will be applicable in the near future, designing a compliance strategy, bringing that strategy online, and maintaining that strategy into the future. This process is full of pitfalls waiting to multiply the cost of any emissions control strategy with even the slightest flaw. Purify Solutions has the experience necessary to avoid this pitfalls and bring in an emissions control project in time and on budget.
In order to complement its emissions control products, Purify Solutions provides a number of additional products and services aimed at assisting our customer's emissions control compliance needs:
- Products:
- Emissions Monitoring and Testing Systems: Purify Solutions can provide a complete emissions monitoring system that will continuously measure and document your power systems in order to ensure that the appropriate emissions control regulations are continuously in compliance.
- The Artemis™ System - Artemis is a patent-pending, ISO-8178-compliant shipboard laboratory-on-a-cart that monitors and verifies in real-time the emissions characteristics of the exhaust stream of each engine on board, including NOx, SOx, hydrocarbons, O2, CO, CO2, and particulate matter.
- Emissions Monitoring and Testing Systems: Purify Solutions can provide a complete emissions monitoring system that will continuously measure and document your power systems in order to ensure that the appropriate emissions control regulations are continuously in compliance.
- Services:
- Consulting: Purify Solutions can assist its clients in understanding the applicable emissions control products, in the selection of the best emissions control strategies, bringing that strategy online, and maintaining that solution over its entire lifetime.
- Managed Solutions: Purify Solutions can completely manage a solution to your emissions control problem. Purify Solutions becomes responsible for every bit of the client's compliance issues.
- Emissions Control Compliance and Monitoring Services: Purify Solutions allows companies and operators to outsource some or all of the hassles associated with emissions control regulation compliance and monitoring. Using this service, the cost of emissions control compliance is greatly reduced through the avoidance of its many pitfalls.
- Emissions Control Device Testing and Verification Services: Purify Solutions has 25+ years of emissions control testing experience. We put that experience to use helping companies test and verify their products to the emissions control regulations. These products can include new engines or aftermarket products, since all of them are required to undergo lengthy verification testing procedures.
Please contact us if you have any questions.
1. Exhaust enters the Catalytic Booster™.
2. Exhaust spirals inward toward the center, preheating the exhaust to the perfect operating temperature of the catalyst and centrifuging/separating the particulate matter burning it out even prior to getting to the catalyst.
3. Catalyst burns out hydrocarbons (smelly stuff) and remaining particulate matter (which causes lung disease), and reduces NOx (major greenhouse gas) out of the exhaust. This is done with little backpressure, removing the usual engine power drain.
4. Exhaust spirals outward transferring its heat back to the incoming stream.
