Purify Solutions' patented use of Temperature Ladders™ optimizes the temperatures experienced by catalytic materials and limits any temperature extremes that may damage or inactivate catalytic materials, and creates an environment that encourages the burnout of particulate matter.
More specifically, Purify Solutions has patented the use of a form of reverse-flow heat exchangers called Temperature Ladders™. Temperature Ladders™ takes small temperature shifts and temporarily turns them into large temperature shifts. For example, a Temperature Ladder™ that uses a 20 degree temperature rise resulting from a combustion process order to create a 200 degree temporary temperature rise has a temperature ratio of 10:1. Temperature Ladders™ can be designed to have different temperature ratios for different flow rates. Temperature Ladders™ can even have a cooling effect instead of a heating one.
Purify Solutions' Temperature Ladder™ technology is used in conjunction with Catalyst Multiplication™ in order to maximize the effectivity of catalytic materials, while also allowing the activation of a catalyst at low temperatures and protecting a catalyst from potentially damaging excessive temperatures. Ensuring the activation of a catalyst for low temperature exhausts is extremely important because a large portion of emissions are made from idling or cold starting engines. Without Purify Solutions' Temperature Ladder™ technology, Catalyst Multiplication™ would not be possible, as an engine would soon damage and inactivate any catalytic emissions control device.
Purify Solutions' Temperature Ladder™ technology is used in conjunction with particulate spin purification in order to create a perfect environment in which to burn out particulate material, for which its residence time and chance of burning out is increased with Purify Solutions' patent pending particulate spin purification technology.
